Here are some pictures taken the day before 20081230 during the NEWS concert (that I would have died to go to; yes yes greedy me). That's when I bought me goods and was amazed at how close I was to NEWS. We were only separated by the Tokyo Dome walls XD. AND while walking around, someone must have opened some door or something but I could hear them inside! And noobie me stood very still to hear them and soak everything in (amidst all the people that didn't care at all)! XD



Onto 20081231! We got to Tokyo Dome City around 4:30PM. I was nervous that we wouldn’t get to our seats on time and they would god forbid start without us! When we got to the area, there were long-ol' lines and crowds and crowds of people. I had a sinking feeling that we wouldn't get to go inside to sit for a very long time. BUT! It turns out that the lines were for the goods for Diamond and the Countdown. And there were practically no lines to get into Tokyo Dome. Hurray! Our seats were all the way up near the top (boooo very very far from the loves *cries*). There was no line to go to our seats. Curiously though, there was this long line for what I have no idea. I don't think it was the bathroom line because that was somewhere else. Anyways, this really nice lady took us straight to our seats, and fortunately, we only had to go up a few steps. I'm kinda scared of stairs and falling off them...

I was all excited. Took out my binoculars and adjusted them and all. Took off my things and put them in places where they wouldn't get stepped on and stuff. Made myself as comfortable as possible.

Then, it STARTED~!~!!! The audience was screaming and I held my breath. The lights dimmed and we all started screaming like crazy! In the dark, the audience's lights were soooo beautiful! Kando shita! Made me kind of regret that I didn't have a penlight. I did have a glowstick though =P...

Note that my binoculars were following Ryo the most and then Pipi.

1. Happy Birthday - There was a lot of bass for this song. Sounded nice! My boys came out of the big diamond, which opened up and became stairs to the stage below.
2. weeeek - One of my most loved songs!!!! They were all really genki! I really wanted to jump along with them, but it was rather difficult so I just bounced along with them.

6. ~挨拶~ - Pipi said some stuff that I was sure was sexy and I didn't understand, but there was lots of screaming and I just screamed anyways cuz his voice is hot and he's Pi. Ryo was second to last and actually talked a lot, none of which I could understand though. Poor me. Tegoshi was last and said something like, could it be that you love me? Daisuki?? Daisuki? AHH My hearing fails! According to devilayu , Tegonyan actually says "daichuki". Thanks dear ♥. He does this a few times in different intonations and accents. Kawaiii ^o^</lj>
7. Why - Started off with Massu-Shige playing pool in the middle. I think Massu sunk one ball in, which seemed like the cue ball to me?? Then came Pipi-Koyama at a bar-ish thing. Then came Ryo-Tegoshi on the couch. Darn it by the time I looked at the couch, Ryo was already standing at the side. Don't know if there was actually lovey-doviness between them. But I missed it *cries*. O yea! This is where they wear the incredibly bright red boots! All of them! Red! Really Red!
8. バンビーナ - AHHH another song I love. They danced a lot in it. I remember lots of hand movement stuff?
9. Say Hello - (Change of clothes) I was always fond of this song and performance ♥
10. Party Time
11. シャララタンバリン (Shige Solo) - I guess this song was ok. Shige, yoku ganbatta na~ ^o^ He was moving a lot and singing all out.
12. 愛のﾏﾀﾄﾞｰﾙ (Tegoshi Solo) - Beautiful voice as expected.
13. マスパーマン (Massu Solo) - So adorable! Hahahaha! That title is SO witty! I couldn't hear the song very well. I was trying to watch his dance most of the time XD
14. I･ZA･NA･I･ZU･KI - (Clothes change) Thank goodness I kind of know how this song goes. So as soon as the song started, I searched for Pi so I could stare intently at him through my binoculars. And lo and behold, I saw his sexy dance part live! *o*. Saw the Shige lip thing XDDDD (we all screamed). Ryo didn't do anything diff =\.
15. 太陽のナミダ - If I remember correctly, they didn't dance. Memory failure! devilayu has kindly pointed out that they DID dance! hahaha =3</lj>

17. Fiesta - Koyama had us yell "Fiesta!" a lot XD
18. EASY COME, EASY GO - They were going around on those huge cart-with-pictures things.
19. ~MC~ - The boys told us to sit down (which I had already done =P). My poor shoulders and arms were so friggin' tired from holding the binoculars. And my poor limited Japanese. I couldn’t really understand anything. But I was staring at Ryo during the MC. He was generally silent as usual. He drank some water from a bottle that he had in his bright sparkly red back pocket of his jeans. ^o^. He said some things that I didn’t understand =(. And Pipi did his "Hallelujah Chance" like twice. Awwww kawaii~~~ :3. He even did "Nobuta powaa chunyuu~" and fell to his knees and writhed in embarrassment. AWWWWWWW :3 :3 :3. I think at one point, they were saying that Ryo should do "Hallelujah Chance" and we all screamed, but he didn’t do it =(. And then they were saying that Shige (?) should do "Shigerujah Chance", which he didn’t do but Pipi did it towards the end of the MC. KAWAIIIIIIIIIII. Pipi is so incredibly adorable. Anyways, Tegoshi spoke a lot. I remember reading that he didn’t really speak much in the previous MCs. He called Ryo just "Ryo" again, but no one responded to that. I internally squeed though. They were talking about something about Koyama, and the camera was showing just his face a few times as he was making (handsome?) expressions and stuff. Hahaha! And Massu was incredibly adorable (dude, is that the only word I can spew???) when he was doing an impression of ... I *think* rescue workers for his new drama? Anyways, it was a bunch of gibberish he said in a certain tone and manner and facial expression. Kawaikatta~ And the other members were like, how does it go again? What do they say again? And Massu did it several times with different gibberish in the same tone! AHHAHAHA. Kawaiiiii :3. He added in some gestures towards the end too pfft bwahhaha~~~ Ryo-chan said some stuff! Unfortunately none that I could understand though. >o<
20. Share - I think they sang this song and there was some more MC afterwards, but whatever MC I remember is above XD. They stood 6 in a row across the stage and they had their own square to stand on. As the song went along, the member with the solo had their squares raised above the others, and when they were all singing, all the squares were at the same level. It looked nifty *o*. Unfortunately, as you already know, I didn’t understand the song so I wasn’t able to really appreciate it and be touched which I know I was supposed to be. Kuyashii =(. Anyways, they were playing old clips of them on the center large screen. I screamed for Ryo and Pi. ^o^ natsukashii na~
21. 銀座ラプソディ (YamapiKoyama) - There is a short intro-ish thing to the song with Pipi’s solo dancing with some Juniors back up dancing. O Pi, you are so incredibly hawt! His dancing was uberly awesome (as usual). And my favorite move was when he jumped down into ... push-up stance with one leg up (I hope you know what I mean). Yummmmmmmmmm I don’t remember if I screamed for that, but at the very least, I screamed and fangurled on the inside XD. Then Koyama came out and danced. His dance included a line of juniors behind him and them doing the synchronized dance move thing that ripples along the line of boys. Also very nice. Then the song started. I stared at Pi-ster. Awesome clothes, awesome dance, awesome Pipi. ^o^ Very impressive.
22. アイアイ傘 (TegoMassu) - Tegoshi and Massu were going in those crane cart thing-of-a-doodles. Massu was closer to us. Stared a little at Massu. But used most of the time to rest (from ogling Pi during Ginza Rhapsody XDD).
23. 真冬のナガレボシ
24. SNOW EXPRESS - One of my other favs!!! I watched intently for the chest pump part (after Massu’s "tokete yuku" line) I love that move XD. Also stared intently for Pipi’s rap and Ryo’s dancing ^3^.
25. Forever
26. チェリッシュ - Yay, we were doing the chorus dance!!! Was too tired to watch through the binoculars. But I was able to do the dance part with full concentration XD. And of course, Ryo had us sing the bridge, which I did at the top of my lungs! XD And he bowed and thanked us :3
27. 希望～Yell～
28. TEPPEN - I *think* it was for this song ... Maybe not. Anyways, the boys were going on the crane things. And Ryo was in one kinda close to us. I stared intently at him (what else is new?). There must have been some kind of jolt or something. He was all shocked and gripped the bars tightly in a hunched over stance with this look on his face. Poor baby!!! I could have sworn he mouthed "bikkuri shita!". And then after a second or two, he slowly stood up normally and continued singing. And as the crane was pulled back to the stage, Ryo looked at his hand with a disgusted expression and wiped whatever crud was on his hand against the bars XDDD. Kawaiiiiii~~~~~ I swear he could be picking his nose and I would find it endearing!
29. ムラリスト (KoyaShige) - Sorry! I used this song as a chance to rest too (for MOLA)! HAHAH. KoyaShige are adorable =)
30. MOLA (Yamapi Solo) - Pipi sportin’ a black suit, white collar shirt, and white shoes. There are sparkly crystals going down the side of his pants and his white shoes are kira kira too. *o*. He comes out in shades holding a bouquet of flowers, struttin’ his stuff to the music XDDD. And he throws the bouquet to the audience and gets to the stage. Pipi choreographed the song right? It was good. As someone else pointed out, no stripping or anything LOL. But gawsh darned sexy nonetheless. Actually, I kinda prefer that he doesn’t strip, but if he’s gonna, heck I’m not complaining! XD. Anyways, the choreography was really smooth and jam-packed full of moves. Some chest pumping here and there. Lots of foot-work and sliding and slick moves. *drools* It was mega hawt. He should have thrown in some more push-up dance moves *drools even more*. I shouted some parts along with his lipsynching, like "FEEL THE VIBE!" and "Make you sweat!" XD. And I so wanted to scream throughout the song, but everyone was quiet. Maybe it’s because the Japanese fans didn’t really understand the lyrics? But I screamed maybe once or twice and stopped - didn’t want to be a nuisance with my screaming =P. And if I remember correctly, Pi did NOT write the lyrics. I just read how someone thought it shallow, but they not actually be Pipi’s lyrics =P. Anyways, fancam gods, please let there be a fancam. And concert dvd gods, please let there be a dvd of this con, which MUST contain both Ginza Rhapsody and MOLA.
31. Ordinary (Ryo Solo) - FiVe (ACK! Is it FiVe? Or another group that was playing backup there? And Ryo-chan was promoting them too. My sad memory. Gomen ne Ryo.) Anyways, the group played some intro stuff (again I rested for Ryo). And then someone behind me said "Kita!" and sure enough, there was a (small) shadowed figure in the dark middle of the stage. I whipped my binoculars up to stare at shadow ryo playing the guitar. And then the spotlight went on him. And they went into Ordinary. I really like this song, especially the chorus. I think it’s sooo catchy =) O Ryo I love you. Anyways, onto the description of the live performance. The verse part didn’t sound very clear to me, so it didn’t sound very good. But when it got to the refrain, I was bobbing along to it and enjoying Ryo’s solo =). During the middle music part, Ryo faced the part of the band on his right and strummed away. Then to his left and strummed. ^o^.
32. Change the World - Was looking out for the Koyama-Tegoshi moment, but either I missed it or there wasn’t any. I’m pretty sure I was staring at the right boys XD.
33. BEACH ANGEL
34. FLY AGAIN - I love this song. And their using it as the last song of the concert kinda made me feel sad, in a good way. My heart kind of ached. I sang along with them (oooooh, duet with NEWS!) and waved my glow-stick and all! And they said their goodbyes and went back to the diamond. And went out the back door of the diamond. AH! I don't rememer if it was here or at the end of the encore, but Shige did "Shigeruyah Chance!" XDDDDD kawaiiii ♥ We all laughed!

We were yelling and stuff for NEWS so they could come out~~ And at first we were yelling NYUUSU NYUUSU with the 2 syllables and all. But we got lazy? So we just stretched out the normal English pronunciation of NEEEWS instead =P.

1. Smile Maker - They were singing and rapping riding atop those huge cart things again. Pipi, Koyama, and Shige were initially closer to me. They ride all around the dome, so for the second half, Ryo, Tegoshi, and Massu were close to me =).
2. きらめきの彼方へ
3. weeeek - =3 They gathered on stage again. Towards the end, Ryo blew us a kiss!!!! *o* Yay! Ryo-chan blew me a kiss *sing-songy* XDDD Have I told you lately that I love you Ryo?

Other noteworthy things:

• The intro movie was really cool and incredibly cute! Especially, duh, my Ryo - he was all smiley and adorable and poking his fingers on his cheeks :3. XD And of course Yamapi - he was doing the cute smiley faces where his dimples show and with closed eyes doing peace signs. ^o^ This seriously needs to be in a DVD.
• I don’t know if it’s just me, but there were times that some of their singing sounded like chipmunk style. I remember Massu being a chipmunk quite often and in aiai gasa too. Ryo was for a little bit. Maybe it’s the effect of the dome venue?? Wakannai...
• And Ryo was just Ryo. He did his cute little body wriggles XDDD kawaiiii :3. And his sluggish lazy dancing (and lack of dancing) XDDDD o dear. And his very recognizable running style XD. But at least he didn’t seem tired because there was only one Party for that day ka na~
• No one took off any clothes darn it!!! But, I’m over it XD (I guess...)
• Unfortunately there was only one encore =(. I’m guessing it may be because the Countdown was that night. Well, they did sing 3 songs for the encore =\. And when they disappeared, we started yelling for NEWS again, but there was some man’s voice blasting through the dome, probably telling us to get out asap or something. We all stopped screaming and started packing up to leave ;-;.

My first concert experience! It was soo surreal. The concert ended in a blink of an eye. And it kind of feels like I didn’t really see them. But I did! I made sure to breathe a lot of NEWS air XDDD. This was a once in a lifetime chance and I finally got to see my boys live!!!! I’m so happy!!!!!!!! This is kind of sad to say, but it felt like I was watching a Ryo-focused fancam of the concert. Nanka, kanashii~~~. I guess that’s how you feel when you’re far. =\ Anyways, I hope that this is the first of many concerts to come for me!!!! *hopes real hard*
